Insomnia

It gnaws and eats at me in the middle of the night. I just wish it was like before. When I can look forward to bed knowing rest awaits me.
GAHH..
I hate the noise. If it isn't a car, it's people fighting, after that, the city cleaners. The perils of city living. I can hear everything.

Thanks for the memories
I will always cherish the fond memories
Jumping on my bed, helping me change my lightbulbs, playing boxing, sharing downloaded music, blasting your speakers at full volume, teaching me how to play golf, fighting over the bathroom, sneaking up to scare me, trying out a million and one outfits in front of my mirror before going out.
Thanks for the being the silly and cheeky person you were. You always made me laugh.
For calling a moth "the monster", for wanting a pet monkey just to fetch your slippers. For taking care of me after I had too much fun.
Thanks for being my "neighbour". There isnt a day since you left that I didnt think of you and miss our "neighbour" moments.
Its hard for me to let go but I hope you have finally found your peace.

it's almost envious how you're able to close your eyes to the world burning around you. how you can isolate all your problems and move on to the next day. but i dont desire such ignorance.
